Parkland ER Residency July 2014

Published

Hello,

Just wanted to let ya'll know Parkland has posted the ER residency for July 2014 if anyone is interested. :)

Specializes in SICU/ER.

FYI, the residency is approximately 16 weeks long from July 25 (after 4 days general hospital orientation which will start on July 21st) to November 18, 2014. The three (3) year contract does not start until November 19, 2014 until November 18, 2017! A sample of the contract will be sent to you in the offer email. A separate email will have the med test link consisting of 40 questions and you need 85% to pass. You are a nurse resident and will have to apply to be an RN 1 after successful completion of the program. There are no guarantees if you are accepted as a resident that you will complete the program (failure of tests, unable to perform in the area). Good luck to all of you and hope to see you in July! And as always, be safe.

TWU80- I'll be there with you!!!!! just got the email this morning!

I received that rejection email. I'll be applying for the SICU and if ER is offered in the Fall. Congrats to everyone who got an interview and then to to those who landed the position!! Great job!!!
