Parkland ER Residency July 2014

Just wanted to let ya'll know Parkland has posted the ER residency for July 2014 if anyone is interested. :)

I will my friend sent my résumé to the SICU manger and I applied to others! My friend got the OR residency! I just need to get some RN experience. All I have is LVN.

and nurse0884, you have experience, LVN counts as much as anything else!! you would like SICU (would have been my second choice for sure)...I am a big believer in timing and i will admit my timing was good this time (its not always the case). I fought harder for the residency than anything i have done in 20 years. Keep the faith!

Nurse0884, your friend that got the OR position, when did he received the answer? I had an interview last Tuesday but haven't heard from them yet.

I got out of office reply on email for Thursday and Friday so the fat lady hasn't sung yet!

Does anyone know who to contact in HR for the Med-Surg positions ? Or anybody hear back from them ?

Unless it's the same person is all I am aware of. Her title has executive recruiter/ interim nurse manager occupational health
