Hiyaaa! I wanted to start a thread for all the students applying for the spring 2020 ABSN program at pace. Feel free to ask and answer questions regarding the program, good luck to everyone!!
I wonder if they (pace) will allow us to speak to students that graduated the program already. I would love to hear their firsthand experiences.
Like, do we really need to buy all the books, which teachers test from their PowerPoints/notes so, no need to buy books.
Is there a lot of group assignments?
Did “all the students” really land jobs before even taking the nclex... as stated by one of the women conducting the interview.
I just wish we could speak to a 2018 graduate, or 2017.
I'm still waiting for a response and interviewed on 9/24 - my status checker is still the original checklist and never received a denial in the mail or by email, nor did I receive an acceptance - I called and was told they're still making decisions. Wondering if that means I was waitlisted?
I don't think it's a bad thing, did you apply to other schools? I'm guessing many people applied to more than one school and are awaiting decisions. There is going to be a percentage that don't accept the offer, and there will be a percentage of those who do (just to cover themselves while waiting for another) and then don't go.
