Hiyaaa! I wanted to start a thread for all the students applying for the spring 2020 ABSN program at pace. Feel free to ask and answer questions regarding the program, good luck to everyone!!

I don’t think it’s a bad thing either.
some people won’t accept the offer, I’m curious of how the waitlist works, like are we all at a certain spot on the list?

Hello all!

Thank you to whoever started this topic, I’m anxiously waiting an answer. I finished my undergrad at Pace in 2013 and applied for the Spring 2020 program. I applied in July and haven’t heard anything back. My final documents were submitted in September (my Pace transcripts, the irony) everything else in July. My status states “Awaiting Decision”. Is that different from “In review”. Can someone please let me know the different status updates.

I haven’t received any emails except when they received my application and I called and they said my application is in review but that’s not what my status says.

Thanks for the response. No, did not hear anything back at all yet so I guess my question is for anyone that interviewed did their status say “In review” for their application ever or has it always said “Awaiting decision” the whole process.

I asked because my status never changed from the original checklist and I had an interview in September. I was notified yesterday I was waitlisted.

It always said awaiting decision and after the interview it changed to decided.

Oh okay when I first opened the portal it was the checklist but there’s a page before that if you log off and back on and click on the application you submitted it’s this simple page that says “Application Details” I didn’t notice until the page timed out one day and I had to log back on

The interviews are in person at Pace so they would contact you to arrange one.

Yes from what I’ve read people received an email to set one up or otherwise wait for a rejection letter. I just wanted to make sure my portal was accurate. Thank you and best of luck!

Did anyone else get the "new" Pace email... The one that says to set up your account? AND PAY MORE MONEY. aka the deposit fee. Anyways, I thought we all already had an account from when we submitted are applications.

Those that are waitlisted don't give up hope, and don't count yourself out. However, with that said... be open to applying to other schools. In NY state there are sooooo many nursing schools out there. If this door closes make sure you keep knocking at the other ones.

Hey I never received that email, would you be able to post the link? For some reason I never received any emails from Pace and had to check my portal to find out I was accepted.

Has anyone thought about loan options? Does anyone know if FAFSA will cover the whole tuition or not because it’s a second bachelors degree? And if people are taking out more than just tuition money to help them get through the year?
