Pace University ABSN Spring 2020

Hiyaaa! I wanted to start a thread for all the students applying for the spring 2020 ABSN program at pace. Feel free to ask and answer questions regarding the program, good luck to everyone!!

How much is the deposit here and how long do you have to pay it? I paid $1000 to hold my spot at Northeastern, they only gave 10 days and they came in early w a decision.

FASFA only covers the regular yearly undergrad amount because it's not considered grad school. It's considered 5th year undergrad (which I already did and now don't qualify so am taking loans for the school I go to)

So does It cover this program cause It would be my “5th year undergrad”?

It would give u the federal aid for 5th year undergrad which is max $7500. These programs screw us because if it was considered grad school you would get $20,500. A masters program would give you the big money. If you find out anything different, PLEASE post it. That was what I was told when I called FASFA

The deposit is $200 to hold your seat however there might be a deposit for the nursing program that is separate.

For those accepted, did anyone create the MyPacePortal? I got an email to go on the accepted students page but my name doesn’t come up on the Pace University white pages.

I got the same email as well. I haven’t tried yet, though. Maybe we have to wait until everybody enrolls and they have the final, full class roster all set up ? It might be a little hectic right now because people are still deciding, on the waitlist, etc.

They give you two weeks from the date of your acceptance to submit a deposit.

I created one. Search just your last name and “all applicants”

I did that and it said “no results” so I might just have to call then!

Yeah I tried to create a portal and my name doesn’t come up either.

My name came up, but I cannot create an account. This system is so strange. I think, I'm going to just go to the campus and try to handle things in person... because over an email exchange, I get nothing done.

Did anyone create a pace email? or submit their pace photo?
