OU- ABSN 2019: OKC,Tulsa,Lawton

Hi! I was wondering if anyone out there applied for OU ABSN program starting this summer. Would love to get a discussion board going ?

I submitted my application on Jan 13, and it just became "complete" this morning. Even though I rushed my transcripts to NursingCas, it took them almost 2 weeks to process them. This definitely didn't help my anxiety! Anyway, now everything is in but the waiting game starts...

The last thread for OU had a pretty strong response, so I was hoping we could all join up here and be nervous together!

Hi @Amador301 and @cberry0280 , I applied to the 2019 summer ABSN program at OKC. ? My application was rolled over from the ABSN Lawton spring start. I was waitlisted. So now I am even more anxious! I honestly don't know what to expect.

Wow, I didn't know they rolled over apps! Do you happen to know how many people they took at OKC the year you were waitlisted?

I applied to the ABSN in Lawton originally. I think only about 20 people were accepted. My applications are still pending as well. I called and the said mid march I should know.

The website says Lawton has an average approximate number of 16 seats - so they accepted 4 extra? That’s really cool! Maybe resources available at the OKC and Tulsa campuses will also allow them to accept a larger cohort.
