  1. OU OKC...and yep! I’ll be new in town ? can’t wait to meet you at orientation!
  2. I haven’t heard anything....gonna give another day or two and then call.
  3. I’m coming in from out of state too! I’m headed to OKC tho, otherwise it would have been cool to help each other out. Yep! ABSN ?
  4. MMy last name is “A” so alphabetical is possible theory...also my nursingcas status is still saying “verified”
  5. Everyone wake up! It’s like Christmas morning! ???
  6. I sorta like the idea of dressing up to class...realistically we will all be exhausted and want to roll in with yoga pants and hoodies, but having to dress well definitely gives off a more professional vibe. I think it would encourage me to take things more seriously...think “career mode” vs “student mode”.
  7. OK everyone, this is the week!! I gotta good feeling! Fingers crossed!
  8. Wow, thanks for calling!! I really need the “5-6 days” lady to Be right! I think I would lose it if I had to waiting until April. What status do you guys have in nursingcas? Mine just says “verified”. I wonder if it will update immediatley upon acceptance or if we will get an email first....
  9. I failed chem in highschool. Took it again in college and aced it...I really think having a patient professor can really change how you do in chem! I felt so confident after gen chem then moved to org chem and have never EVER felt so dumb.
  10. I’m checking my email obsessively!
  11. @haleyreese23 Thanks for being frank! It's a little discouraging to hear, but I certainly appreciate the heads up. I gave up looking for the "perfect program" a looooong time ago, and at this point I just value a program that will get me in and out quickly. Regardless of the issues you encountered, do you overall feel like you are prepared for working as an RN? Or the NCLEX? What is it that makes you feel like the ABSN program is getting the leftovers? Congrats on almost being finished! I'm sure everyone reading is grateful for your input ?
  12. I wonder what the average GPA's are for accepted students? I have all the pre-reqs done, but a lot of them were done at a community college, since it didn't make sense to go back to my alma mater as it would be 3x the price. I hope that doesn't count to much against me, for what it's worth the micro and physio courses I took at CC this past fall were much harder than the general chem and bio I took at my university. Anyone brave enough to share stats? I'll go first. Last 60: 3.8 Science: 4.0 Cumulative: 3.9 most people do poorly in the beginning of their academic career, but I actually got the worst grades in my last 60 units! I was unbelievably burnt out!
  13. On the Nursingcas application I ranked my options (#1 OKC, #2 Tulsa)...now I'm thinking that I had to submit a whole supplementary application for Tulsa. Did anyone apply for both? I'm thinking I might have done it wrong and only will be eligible for OKC.
  14. Nope....just getting more and more nervous!
