Anyone out there planning on going to Orlando Tech for their LPN starting in August? I'm currently in the process of applying for the daytime program, but I feel very in the dark. I went to the orientation, I've sent in my online application, and have heard nothing since. I called and left a message for someone in I think nursing admissions (I got transferred a few times) regarding the next steps. I'd love to meet some people that are going through the process currently, or have done it recently and give me some pointers!

Ugh.. Summer classes start tomorrow! And retaking the TEAS Thursday.

I need to find a dentist! And get my tb shot done!

Wait for the shot and dentist they give you a form to fill out when you get the packet, save the trip and get the paper filled out when you get the tb done so it's not more trips than you need. Dentist? Just depends if you have insurance, if not I would just call around and find the cheapest place to get a cleaning done. They don't even need to do that for the paper, you just technically need to be examined by a dentist to have it filled out. I'm not sure what its even for I think it's just in case people in the dental programs at Orlando tech can do things on us if we need it. Dentist wasn't even sure why I needed it for the school. Tb I would get at Centura walkin, they give you a list of prices when you the packet so I think it's cheaper since we are trying to get into the school. Other than that, just needed hs transcripts or college works if it lists what hs you went to on it. It says to have the stuff mailed while getting the stuff together for the packet but I just had it all together so it didnt get lost and she was able to review it all together. Well the tb test needs to be read a few days later, so if I get it done tomorrow, it should be okay to be read by Friday or Saturday. It's only like $30 at my doctor's office. I have dental insurance for now, so I just need to find a place to take me ASAP. I already have all my other immunization records and my HS diploma. We need 3 letters of recommendation too, right? And is it 8 spots for daytime, or 8 spots total left?
