  1. This is an old thread but I am looking into this program, thank you for all of the info you have provided!!! When you said you paid out of pocket, do you have to pay for tuition while taking classes?
  2. You're welcome:) yeah if you want to be an LPN then this or any of the "tech" schools are good I choose this bc I want to be an RN and the programs around here are pretty competitive so there's a wait list for Valencia. So I plan to just bridge after I'm done with this program
  3. Oh no problem I desperately wanted someone to help me out when I was looking at the program and kcgator did thank goodness so I owe it to someone else to help out. Well like I said its just been online so far so it's been pretty easy and nice only going for 2 hours a day I'm nervous for next week though the teacher emailed us today saying we will move fast so hope I can keep up. But good luck in the application process and hope to see you on campus too! Anymore questions feel free to ask:)
  4. Woo! Can't wait to see you on campus!
  5. Pretty much we will have the different sections, we don't know the order yet we have started into fundamentals already. It's been online so they haven't told us too much they're still in the dark with a lot of it too.
  6. Broken down in what way? We are finishing first class now this week which is online it's intro to health but you don't take it if you are already a Cna. 70 is a fail so they want us to stay above that.
  7. Yay congrats! Anything new you can add? Have you tried to see financial aid yet?
  8. Thank you for replying and Good luck in the program. i can't wait to start.
  9. Ah me too I hate having to wait until July to have the orientation I want to get ready now! My summer will be consisting of anp and probably math review those are classes I haven't taken in at least a year so I need to brush up.
  10. Ah!! What's the program like?!? Do you work during it? How hard is it what can we expect? Me and crash both start in August! I've been trying to find someone in the program for advice for months!!
  11. I am trying to get a serving job too! Less hours good pay
  12. same here, i used to get pell but not qualified for the past two years my mom pulled out her retirement, which sucks bc that in no way affects me but i guess we will see soon enough. Congrats again and tina102 keep studying and dont give up just keep trying:)
  13. yay! do you know anything about the finances for the program? I tried to go talk to financial aid, but they said they wont have access to it for 2013-2014 until at least june. I have bright futures scholarship but i am not sure if that will pay for it or not. I am just not sure if i need to try and now save up for books/uniform etc..the orientation isnt until july so I will learn more then but that isnt too much time to try and save up since books are 700 and uniform/etc supposed to be around 300..
  14. Sorry to hear that:( hope you find something and good luck! its 2 letters but they have the form the people fill out, you dont have to have people actually write rec letters out for you.
