I started finger sticks (no insulin thankfully!) and the highest was 150 and the lowest 108. Not too wildly out of control but I've already started cutting way back on carbs. Let me tell you though.. metformin side effects are not fun. For me, it mimicked the feeling of low blood sugar. You're right, thankfully I've got the summer for my body to get used to it!

Just found out from my doc that my titer results are in and everything looks good. I'll be picking those up tomorrow after orientation. Everything else has been accepted by Castle Branch. I got bad news from my MD though, newly diagnosed with diabetes.. because I needed another stressor in my life!

Castle Beanch has accepted everything from me. I'm just waiting on the results of my titers, which were drawn yesterday. I didn't eat the Hep B series u til a I was in high school and I never had a varicella vaccine (just the disease.. twice) so I'm keeping my fingers crossed that I don't have to do another series of vaccines. About how long did it take for you guys to get your results?

Where does it say that? On castle branch it just says one step and there was only space for one on the physical exam paperwork

For Naugatuck Valley we have orientation on Wednesday and all our documents are due by June 1. It varies for each school.

So financial aid.. I applied for it and the school received my application but that's the last I've heard. Should I keep waiting or call the school..?

I'm just doing the full two years. I'd rather be guaranteed my spot.

NVCC people, are we able to register today if we submitted our acceptance? Or do we have to wait until after May 1?
