Orlando Tech August 2013

Anyone out there planning on going to Orlando Tech for their LPN starting in August? I'm currently in the process of applying for the daytime program, but I feel very in the dark. I went to the orientation, I've sent in my online application, and have heard nothing since. I called and left a message for someone in I think nursing admissions (I got transferred a few times) regarding the next steps. I'd love to meet some people that are going through the process currently, or have done it recently and give me some pointers!

Pretty much we will have the different sections, we don't know the order yet we have started into fundamentals already. It's been online so they haven't told us too much they're still in the dark with a lot of it too.

I turned my health packet in today!! Ill be starting in Jan. Thank God!! @ksmall24 and @xocrash I finally did it and Goodluck this semester and I hope you do GREAT!!!! :yes:

Oh no problem I desperately wanted someone to help me out when I was looking at the program and kcgator did thank goodness so I owe it to someone else to help out. Well like I said its just been online so far so it's been pretty easy and nice only going for 2 hours a day I'm nervous for next week though the teacher emailed us today saying we will move fast so hope I can keep up. But good luck in the application process and hope to see you on campus too! Anymore questions feel free to ask:)

Logically it makes sense, I mean you're dealing with the human body.

You're welcome:) yeah if you want to be an LPN then this or any of the "tech" schools are good I choose this bc I want to be an RN and the programs around here are pretty competitive so there's a wait list for Valencia. So I plan to just bridge after I'm done with this program

@ksmallz24 did you have a interview with the director? How was it? They called me today to set up a interview.
