So fall just flew in so I thought what a great time it would be to start my nursing applications lol. It is very early, but I enjoy having this on my mind. I am in my final year at University and am hoping to be a nursing student come next September. I wanted to make a space where we could come together with a common goal: getting accepted. For those of you who applied to Humber, have your high school grades been received yet? I ordered them weeks ago and they still haven't been processed, although my university transcript has been received. I'm getting so stressed over this, haha.
I received an unconditional offer of admission from Queen's on January 25th via email. Later that evening my Queen's Solus was updated accordingly. For anyone applying to Queen's and curious, my cAVG is 3.64(9.85), last 2 years 3.77(10.35), and the Queen's average (based on prereqs and most recent 42 credits) is around 3.84 (10.57) I think. I also did not complete their supplementary application yet, and am waiting to hear back as to whether I still have to.
I am still waiting on McMaster and Western, which I'm sure will be later as I haven't completed CASPer yet and as per previous year forums.
**Anyone else apply to Western, fill out the online prerequisite form on the student center, and have yet for it to be updated? The site says it'll be a minimum of 5 business days, but it's been quite a while.**
**I like the specific gerontology, adults/older adults, developmental psych, and family-centred courses that Queen's offers. I also like the amount of professional practice courses Western offers. Any other comments on programs as to their quality, pros, cons etc?**

My online prereq form for Western still has not been updated either.. hopefully this week it will be!
Has anyone who applied to McMaster and requested their transcripts through OUAC had their transcript status on Mosaic change from "Initiated"? All the other schools that I applied to are showing that they've recieved my transcripts except McMaster and they should have definitely gotten them by now.
Hi! I also just found out I got into Queen's. I think I know the answer to this... but just want to confirm: If I accept the Queen's offer on OUAC, will I be able to change it later if I get accepted somewhere else? U of T is my first choice in Ontario.
I emailed Western at the end of the last week about the prereq form. They got back to me saying they've been very busy, but someone was able to update my student portal for me so it now says "received." I wouldn't worry! I'm sure they have it, just haven't updated it.
I called McMaster today and they said that OUAC has a new system and is slower this year so they know that they might not receive the transcripts in time.
That being said I think I requested mine early December at latest and my profile just recently update.

I have applied to UofT, Nipissing SPP, and Humber. My last 2 years' GPA is 3.5 and my last year's GPA is 3.9.
Does anyone know if marks between 85-89 are calculated as a 3.9 or a 4.0? I graduated with a BSc from UofT and 85+ was considered a 4.0 but for calculation of GPA to be fair across all schools I have heard that only 90+ is calculated as 4.0.
Also does anyone know if Humber and Nipissing would calculate courses taken in Fall 2016 toward the GPA?
