I would also like some more input on this.

Of course! I have around a 3.7-3.8 and I'm still in my undergrad.

Got accepted to York! I got the email 2 days ago but didn't notice until now. :) I'm ridiculously happy right now, this was my first choice!

We probably won't hear from York for a while. The CASPer alone takes around a month to process. I'm in the same boat though - desperately wanting to hear back from York haha.

Just got a conditional offer to Humber! :)

@future.RN Oh, I don't know for sure then. But you should definitely try calling OUAC or UofT to confirm their procedures!

@future.RN. You need to request a transcript from OUAC for it to be considered official. It shows the details and refers you to the OUAC site here: Page Not Found - Lawrence S. Bloomberg Faculty of Nursing So definitely send it in as soon as possible - for most universities it's all done electronically so it's really quick to initiate. I think UofT arrived mine in around 2 weeks (from McMaster) so I think you'll be fine if you send in the request today!

@thesix Congratulations! Would you mind sharing your GPA? Also, have you graduated already?

For those of you who applied to Humber, have your high school grades been received yet? I ordered them weeks ago and they still haven't been processed, although my university transcript has been received. I'm getting so stressed over this, haha.

Traditional bsn school
In Ontario, there are universities that require SOME university education (ie, 60 credit hours which is equivalent to 2 years of a full courseload). I'm not sure about other areas.

I see, thanks for your input! :) I'll try giving them a call, too.

Does anyone know if it's really bad if you drop a course and it shows up on your transcript as 'withdrawn'? I'm taking this elective course right now and the professor is, not to offend, horrible. Her teaching methods are not effective yet she demands a lot from her students. I'm hoping it won't be much of an issue because it's just an elective.

Does anyone know how schools look at withdrawn courses? I had to withdraw 3 at one time (around 2 years ago) and I'm worried this will severely hurt my chances... Besides that though, I have a high gpa. Any sort of help is appreciated, thank you.

Hey, I'm really interested in Humber's nursing program! Do you know where the clinical placements are usually assigned? Also, how are the professors/teachers/instructors?

Ontario Second-Entry Nursing (2017)
I'm in fourth year with one more year to go and I really want to get into a nursing program for next year. I haven't heard too many cases of students being admitted before they graduate so I probably have a slim chance, but I'm going to try anyway. I'm applying to York (first choice), UofT (originally my first choice, but I probably won't get in) and Humber as they are close-by. I have a 3.7 cGPA. Don't have much for extracurriculars so I'm nervous about UofT lol. Are there any UofT students here? What kind of extracurriculars did you have on your application?
