  1. Thank you guys, I really appreciate your input. I'll give them a call. I'm praying for a miracle!
  2. Hey thanks, I really appreciate your input. Its microbiology. I'm so scared to call admissions.
  3. Hi everyone, just wondering if I can get some input from you guys. So I got accepted into Yorks Second entry program. I met all the conditions except for one. I was required to take a certain course and obtain a grade of B or higher. I took the course this summer, but I recieved a D. I've already picked all my courses, obtained my ID, and etc. Do u guys think York will take away my acceptance, due to the one mark I recieved. I'm so scared!
  4. Hey everyone!! I got my acceptance from York University just a few hours ago. I'm in shock and so excited!!
  5. Me too, and thank you!
  6. But hopefully, all will be well!
  7. Hi, sorry for the late reply. I'm kinda worry it may be included. The lady mentioned they will look at your last year, including your previous undergrad years to get a feel of the student academic stance.
  8. The NCR was two years ago
  9. Yes1 She said if the admission committee can see it, it will be calculated in the avearge.
  10. Hi everyone, just wondering if there's any previous or current Yorku students that applied to Uoft and happens to have an NCR notation for a course? I spoke to the register office at Uoft, and the woman I spoke to, made me understand that the way NCR notation is noted on UofT transcript is a bit different from YorkU. Apparently if you attend UofT and receive an NCR notation for a course the grade does not appear next to it. But with YorkU there will be an NCR notation and the grade you received. I asked the woman will the grade be counted towards my gpa calculation, and she said "if they can see it, it will", even though the course is designed as NCR. Just wondering does anyone seem to know more about this or experience such thing, cause the woman I spoke to seem quite confuse. Thanks!!!
  11. Thank you so much for your feedback!! This kinda puts me at ease!!
  12. Ah, Thank you so much! Yeah I'll decently give them a call. Thanks again!
  13. Hi Congratulations to everyone who has gotten they're acceptances. I wish all of you great success. And for those still waiting to hear back (like myself), we just have to hang on a bit tight. Will make it!! Quick question! Are courses designated with a no credit retain (NCR) counted towards GPA calculation for Uoft and York University? ( I don't think so, but I just want to clarify). Thanks!!!
  14. Hey everyone!! Just a quick question in regards to UofT admission. When UofT looks at the last five (5) full-course equivalents, are they counting from Fall 2018 downwards (in order to reach 5 full-course equivalent= 30 credits)? Hope my question makes sense! Thanks!!!
