Hey everyone :)
So fall just flew in so I thought what a great time it would be to start my nursing applications lol. It is very early, but I enjoy having this on my mind. I am in my final year at University and am hoping to be a nursing student come next September. I wanted to make a space where we could come together with a common goal: getting accepted. The schools I plan to apply are:
Trent, Toronto, Humber, Western and Queens
Possibly considering RPN programs as well.
Hey triNurse2017 , I have an average in my last 10 courses of 82%, and I'm worried about not getting accepted to Toronto and York... I feel like you will need a higher GPA for those two, because I had a 79% last year and did not get in.
Hey Mr.Dee, I am just wondering about your earlier comment. You said you had 79% last year and did not get in. Which school did you get rejected to? Rejection witha 79% is scary!
I am graduating in a couple months from UofT too my double majors and a minor. My cgpa isnt that good, only like mid 70 but my last 5-10 credits were like 3.7-3.8. I only applied to Bloomberg UofT too (My friend's sister graduated from that school last year and told me to apply). To explain why I only applied to UofT, is because nursing school is my backup, because I am also applying for masters in my program's field (Env management and sustainability). But yes, lately, I have been extremely interested in this nursing uoft program and actually really want to get into the program, but I don't know if I even have chances...
Hey alexab09,
If you requested transcripts through OUAC they'll automatically be sent to the schools you applied to. It may just take a bit of time for them to be registered by the school as having been recieved etc. Because of the large number of applications schools are receiving right now.
If you're really worried, you can always call or email the school to confirm that they got your transcripts. :)
Hi everyone,
I'm just about to submit my application for U of T and Western, and I had a question about the extracurricular activities/employment section on the OUAC website. Do you know if they require verifiers for all your activities? I've been out of high school for 9 years, and I have some volunteer experience from 9 years ago that I have no verifier for now.
Thanks!
Mr.Dee

The scenarios on the test do not have to be obvious nursing situations. They can be any real world situation that tests you on the traits they are looking for. Thus, the sample questions are still relevant.
