  1. For anyone that got accepted to Trent, have you received your admission's package in the mail yet? I live in Burlington, which is a fair ways away from Peterborough, but I got accepted at the end of April and I still haven't gotten the package in the mail.
  2. @hab 81 I'm just finishing up my fourth year right now, so I'd finished all the pre-reqs. My overall average is 84.8% and my average in my last two years is 88.2%. I don't know what these translate to in terms of the 4.0 scale, unfortunately.
  3. Hey everyone, Thought I'd let you all know that I got my offer to Trent this afternoon! :) I'm still waiting on Western and Mac, and if I get into either of those schools I won't be accepting my offer to Trent. Even still, I'm really excited- it didn't really feel real until now.
  4. @llmmcc I also applied to Trent, but it's my third choice so I'm stressing pretty hard waiting to hear from Western and Mac. I'm done all the pre reqs, and I think my marks are solid- I'm more worried about the CASPer results because I have no idea how that test went. Hopefully though they schools will start sending out responses soon! :)
  5. Does anyone know when Western or Mac intend to send out acceptances?
  6. Hey guys, I wrote my CASPer test on January 24th and this morning my supplementary application status on Mosaic changed to completed, so the CASPer results should start showing up at other schools soon. :)
  7. Has anyone who applied to McMaster and requested their transcripts through OUAC had their transcript status on Mosaic change from "Initiated"? All the other schools that I applied to are showing that they've recieved my transcripts except McMaster and they should have definitely gotten them by now.
  8. Hey alexab09, If you requested transcripts through OUAC they'll automatically be sent to the schools you applied to. It may just take a bit of time for them to be registered by the school as having been recieved etc. Because of the large number of applications schools are receiving right now. If you're really worried, you can always call or email the school to confirm that they got your transcripts. :)
  9. Hey guys, I was reading over this feed and thought I'd make a contribution. I'm in my last year of Biological Science with a minor in Nutrition at Guelph. I applied at the beginning of November to McMaster, Western and Trent. My cGPA is 84.2% right now, with an 87.6% over the last two years. I'm hoping to get my cGPA up to an 85.5% and my last ten credits up to a 90% over this next year. When I applied through OUAC i put down that I wanted them to send my grades after the ones for this fall had come in, so I'm not sure if that will affect the timing of my application or what. Anyways, I'm really excited about this entire process. If anyone has any CASPer tips, I'd love to hear 'em. Cheers, Lindsay
  10. I think I'm either going to apply in November just before exams start or after exams are over in December. I want to make sure I go through my application and don't make any stupid mistakes.
  11. Hey @alexab09, I've made my ouac account, but I haven't actually applied yet because I need to phone Mac and ask about a few things with my application. Have you applied yet?
  12. Hey @alexab09 Sounds like you and I are applying to some of the same places. :) I was wondering: where did you do your undergrad and what made you choose the particular nursing programs that you did? Good luck! Look forward to hearing from you!
  13. Hey, I'm also planning on applying to programs this winter. I'm going into my fourth year at Guelph of BSc in Biological Sciences with a minor in Nutrition. I'm planning on applying to Mac (2 years), Western (2 years), Trent (3 years) and U of T (2 years). I'm hoping for Mac because it's the shortest program and the closest to home, so I can save money while going to school. My cGPA is currently 83.17% and my GPA for the last ten credits is 87%, but I'm taking courses this summer and I have one more year of my degree, so I'm hoping I can get my average up to an 86%. I haven't participated in any extracurricular activities since high school, but I had taught art class over the summers to kids. My sister is a nurse and we're planning on going to Malawi this May to help educate people about AIDS/HIV transmission. Beyond that, I'm just concerned about not getting in. Good luck with exams, hope to hear from you!
