I haven't seen a post for Fall 2021 yet so here it is!
My choices are:
1. UofT
2. McMaster
3. Nipissing SPP
I started my OUAC application in November and now trying to work on the supplemental packages. My CASPer Test is on January 12, 2021.
I need to take Anatomy and Physio course(s) however, I'm having a hard time figuring out what would satisfy the requirements from all three universities. My options so far are:
1. Take CBLG 101 in Winter and CBLG 111 in Spring at Ryerson. However final grade will be in June; hoping that's fine. This satisfies all 3 unis
2. Take SCS 2159 in Winter from UofT which is enough for UofT and McMaster but not for Nipissing. I have to take an Anatomy course just for Nip.
I have a Bachelor's Degree in Early Childhood Education from back home, been working as an RECE in Toronto the last 8 years, have a Diploma in Nonprofit Management at Ryerson. My cGPA is 3.55 which I'm worried about. Lots of extra curricular activities from university and volunteering here in Toronto. I still have to compute the GPA for the last two years.
I requested WES to send my transcripts to Nip and McMaster and asked my old uni to send to UofT.
It's been an expensive application so far; really hoping I get in! Looking forward to chatting with you all and sharing our experiences.

Hey! If you applied through the OUAC, there's a section to request your HS transcripts and have them sent to the universities on there ? so you can do that in case you can't reach your high school!

Just curious, how many words do you guys have for the Leadership and Community Involvement involvement? I wrote it in essay form and it's at like 700 words.

I was wondering this too. Because there's only a word count on the first one, so im not sure if were supposed to keep them all to 400 words or not
Are we supposed to provide employers' names, numbers and emails for volunteer and ECCs, cause I don't have that kind of info for some of the things that I mentioned?
I am having some trouble figuring out just how Western calculates GPA, LOL! Is it the last 10 courses you have taken until this year, or the last 10 courses of undergrad?
I did! you did too? Any changes in your admission file? Mine says "waiting list" but I thought they only start reviewing the applications in February, so I a surprised to see changes this early.
Hey! Mine changed to "waiting list" on Jan 6 and I have been wondering the same thing. I was under the impressions acceptances went out in Feb so how could they possibly have a wait list already made...? Any changes on your application since you posted this? Thanks:)

Hello everyone! Has anyone who applied to uOttawa second entry nursing for May 2021 been accepted yet? Very curious to know when acceptances start going out. As of Jan 6 my status says "waiting list" and I don't know exactly what that means.

I think it means that they have done an initial review of the applications (making sure they have all the appropriate documents) and based on that our application will then go into further evaluation in Feb when they actually send out acceptances hence the waiting list.
For everyone who has applied to Nipissing for the SPP program, do you know when we should be hearing back from them to know if they have received our application? I have applied to York and UofT and have received an applicant number from both universities but I am confused how we are suppose to track the status of our applications and the sending of transcript with Nipissing.
