I haven't seen a post for Fall 2021 yet so here it is!
My choices are:
1. UofT
2. McMaster
3. Nipissing SPP
I started my OUAC application in November and now trying to work on the supplemental packages. My CASPer Test is on January 12, 2021.
I need to take Anatomy and Physio course(s) however, I'm having a hard time figuring out what would satisfy the requirements from all three universities. My options so far are:
1. Take CBLG 101 in Winter and CBLG 111 in Spring at Ryerson. However final grade will be in June; hoping that's fine. This satisfies all 3 unis
2. Take SCS 2159 in Winter from UofT which is enough for UofT and McMaster but not for Nipissing. I have to take an Anatomy course just for Nip.
I have a Bachelor's Degree in Early Childhood Education from back home, been working as an RECE in Toronto the last 8 years, have a Diploma in Nonprofit Management at Ryerson. My cGPA is 3.55 which I'm worried about. Lots of extra curricular activities from university and volunteering here in Toronto. I still have to compute the GPA for the last two years.
I requested WES to send my transcripts to Nip and McMaster and asked my old uni to send to UofT.
It's been an expensive application so far; really hoping I get in! Looking forward to chatting with you all and sharing our experiences.
Hey guys! Anxiously awaiting hearing from York. My application was updated to "currently under consideration" within the last couple of days which is exciting! Is everyone seeing the same message?

Good luck! Mine has not changed yet from no decision yet, but from past knowledge I am sure you will hear back soon! When did you apply and write your CASPer Test?

I hope so! I applied really early, as soon as it opened basically, and wrote CASPer in November. I had to take 3 prereqs and I took two in the fall and one now, all through York, so they had those grades really quickly. Did you apply anywhere else?

Oh wow so early! Hopefully you will hear back soon with good news! I also applied to Nipissing and UofT alongside York. Is York your top choice and did you apply anywhere else?

I only applied to york; it's commuting distance for me, so I'm hoping for the best Haha. Fingers crossed for you!

Hey! Congrats on the status change - hopefully it means some good news soon! For the prereq you are currently taking does it show up in your documents tab as "in progress" with an upload button? I am currently taking microbio for the prereq for York Nursing - and even though they received my official transcript there is a new document that said "Microbio Nursing 3.0" and then in the comments it says "in progress" and Im not sure if I have to upload anything or just leave it be? Sorry hope that makes sense LOL
Yes, it says that on mine too! I think it says "in progress @ york" or something similar. I'm hoping for a conditional offer because I won't be finished the course for a couple more months obviously (it's the second half of anatomy/phys). I don't think there is anything to upload at this point, right?

Hey everyone, I'm glad you all found this thread! I wasn't sure if anyone was going to see this when I started it back in December. Nice to hear everyone's experiences and share the joys and stresses (haha) so far!
For Nipissing, my CASPer got updated to "received" yesterday. So the only thing pending is my AP prereq.
For McMaster, my MOSAIC says AP transcript from AthabascaU is "Incomplete Transcript Received" and Supplementary Action "notified", which I believe is where CASPer belongs. I received an email yesterday saying they will update in late March and will be notified about admission status in May.
For UofT, I'm still waiting for my university transcript from back home, they haven't confirmed if it was sent already. I'm so stressed about this! I've been following up since early January. I've also sent a transcript from AU for my AP course to UofT but I don't see it on my JoinUofT list.
QUESTION for those taking pre-reqs this Winter: Do you know the deadlines for Winter pre-req grades/transcripts when we get conditional offers?
I'm just a bit worried as I feel behind on my AP course; just want to make sure I get to finish it on time.

hey just FYI, usually the deadline for the Winter prerequisite is the end of July. And transcripts may not get updated until mid Feb due to OUAC processing time

Thank you! I'm taking the course from AthabascaU so won't be going through OUAC. I think AU does 1-2 weeks turnaround. Thanks for the heads-up!
