  1. Hey everyone, quick question re the First Aid training. I was too excited and I booked mine for this weekend already. I will be away most of July and August so I wanted to get it done early. I just read that some schools would prefer the training to be done later in the Summer. I'm going to Nipissing and unfortunately admissions is taking long to respond and I have to make a decision ASAP. Should I rebook mine? It's $75 to rebook and I can only do the training when I come back last week of August. Please advise, thanks!
  2. My McMaster offer expired yesterday so a spot should open up. Good luck everyone!
  3. Hey! I have an international bachelor's - in science though but not in healthcare. I got my WES evaluation when I moved to Canada in 2012 and just requested copies to be sent to Nipissing and McMaster for this year. I got accepted to both with a 3.55/4 GPA (not sure how they calculated last 2 years/best 10). I received a refused admission from UofT (submitted a transcript straight from university; not WES)
  4. I'm not sure what my last two years GPA is since I did 5 years (switched programs) and my degree is from back home. It is probably a B+ to A-. I wonder too. I'm offered a conditional; wonder what was the cutoff for the first round and why are there still lots of people pending as well.
  5. Yes - For McMaster, I received a denied mid-May; last night it changed to pending. At 4:30pm today, I received an email of acceptance and I just checked my Mosaic now (10pm), I have the blue square, yay! Conditional offer pending a minimum C- grade for my AP course due Aug1. OUAC acceptance is due June 15th. I will be declining since I accepted Nipissing already. ❤️ *** Adding that I'm not sure what my last two years GPA is since I did 5 years (switched programs) and my degree is from back home. It is probably a B+ to A-. I felt pretty good about my CASPer.
  6. My Mosaic has switched to pending from denied!
  7. Thank you NurseJosieD! I requested to join - I just accepted my offer yesterday even though I am still waiting for UofT. Either way, I think I am staying with Nipissing so see you in the Fall! Excited to chat with you all on facebook! If you're still waiting, stay hopeful! The offers expire on Friday so slots should open up next week! ?
  8. Hey everyone, I just finished my AP finals and I'm so happy that I passed and it's done however, I probably have a low grade of C. I already have a conditional offer from Nipissing. I checked the website and it says - Successful completion of prereqs. Just checking if anyone knows anything about this. Thanks!
  9. I think I just sent it to [email protected] in Feb. I have to double check!
  10. Oh no mm1317! Feel better! I feel like we've chatted a few times before. Hoping for a speedy recovery for you! And yes - I think if submitted after May 31, it's space permitting. Maybe send admissions an email when you submit transcript? All the best to you ❤️
  11. I'm taking AP in Athabasca and I guess it doesn't go by Winter/Spring-Summer/Fall. I started the course in Feb, hoping to be done next week! When did your Winter grades get in?
  12. Anyone else taking prereqs and waiting to hear from UofT? My portal still says "Application Received." I have my AP finals on Monday and hoping to submit transcript by May 31. I'm nervous I won't have a good enough mark to get in.
  13. Hopefully loads of good news from UofT today! ❤️❤️❤️ Hang in there! Also, for fun, I added a photo in my profile. ?
  14. My Nipissing email says that "after submitting a response you will be locked out for one business day."
