Ontario Second Entry Nursing Fall 2020

Hey, I used to creep these forums for the past few years and they helped affirm my decision to apply to nursing school for Fall 2020. I didn't see one started for next year so I thought, why not start one?

I graduated a while back so I'm a bit older, but my top three choices are:

1. Queen's

2. McMaster

3. York

4. Humber-UNB

I got accepted around 3pm and have a GPA of 3.7 for my last 5 credits. My cGPA is a lot lower as my first two years in school weren't fantastic!

Hey I got accepted April 24th at 7:30 pm LOL atleast thats when I got the email to check my joinID!

Hi all,

I got accepted to UofT on Friday ?

I was literally shaking when I found out my status reflected 'admitted'. Honestly, I was about to give up, cuz of the long wait.

A little background, I graduated in 2013 with cGPA of 3.78. My transcript looks all messy as I graduated in Human Services. I did start Masters in Social Work, however, discontinued shortly after a semester then jumped to join Undergrad for biology ?. I was scared that they would toss my application away because I scored poorly in Statistics in 2006, with a score of (C). My ECs are pretty good however..lots of social work related volunteer works. I guess I'll be one of the older students in class. ?

I just got accepted into UofT's Nursing program. I'm from Alberta so I'm looking into student housing. Does anyone have any tips? Also is anyone else looking at housing? I would love to connect and chat about it!

On my portal it says the offer letter will be sent to my home address and that that is the only way to obtain it!
