Hey, I used to creep these forums for the past few years and they helped affirm my decision to apply to nursing school for Fall 2020. I didn't see one started for next year so I thought, why not start one?
I graduated a while back so I'm a bit older, but my top three choices are:
1. Queen's
2. McMaster
3. York
4. Humber-UNB

For Western my GPA is around 3.5 (82%).

I think you're right that it's probably just automatic.
2 questions.
1. Does Queen's let you know what position you are on the wait list? Can you e-mail them and ask?
2. What do you think the odds are that we will be starting in person classes in September. Do you think the Fall term will be online? Seems foolish to rent an apartment for September and then find out we aren't starting in person classes until January.

Hey! I totally get why you're hesitant to rent an apartment. I signed a lease last week, because I am truly optimistic we'll be able to start in the fall! I didn't want to leave it to last minute and have no place to live in the end ? I have also heard that they are most likely going to start programs in September that are upper years because it is less likely that they will go against rules of social isolation, and they are building school curriculum to be more at home, but still have in class lectures occasionally. I think nursing is one program that will most likely be allowed to start, because if anything medical professionals need to be trained ASAP for the future! I also have a family friend who is a public health official, and he has said that by August it is most likely schools will reopen, but if they don't it will be the start of October - the economy can't handle universities being closed for another semester.
