Ontario Second Entry Nursing Fall 2020

Hey, I used to creep these forums for the past few years and they helped affirm my decision to apply to nursing school for Fall 2020. I didn't see one started for next year so I thought, why not start one?

I graduated a while back so I'm a bit older, but my top three choices are:

1. Queen's

2. McMaster

3. York

4. Humber-UNB

Hi guys, I'm not 100% sure if I calculated this correctly but I believe I had a GPA of 3.75 when I heard back. I was given til May 22nd to decide and based on what I've read in other forums, I think that the bulk of offers go out at the end of May/ early June. All the best, I hope you both receive good news!! ?

Hello,

I got into both UofTand Western’s nursing program. I will be accepting UofT’s offer so there should be a spot opening up for Western.

Hey! Was this your cGPA or your sub GPA for last 2 years? What was your GPA for last two years, if you don't mind me asking? ?

This was my GPA for my last two years worth of courses (or 10-credit university level courses at Western)! Hope this was helpful ?

Hey, congratulations on your acceptance and thanks for the reply! what would a 3.75 GPA be in percent?

Thank you!! Based on the OMSAS conversion table I think that would translate to about 81-82%.

Hey everyone! Once again congratulations on all your acceptances! I have not been keeping up with the forum so I am not sure how many people have got into Western and is planning on going. I would love to meet some future peers. I was thinking of starting a facebook group! Please let me know if you're interested!!

Hello everyone I messaged Western and they said they'll be sending out a bulk of their admissions at the end of May! Hopefully that is reassuring to some people who have not heard back yet!

A random question but if you submit an updated transcript now, would these new grades be used to make an admission decision? Or is it just the grades we submitted in February that will be used.
