Hey, I used to creep these forums for the past few years and they helped affirm my decision to apply to nursing school for Fall 2020. I didn't see one started for next year so I thought, why not start one?
I graduated a while back so I'm a bit older, but my top three choices are:
1. Queen's
2. McMaster
3. York
4. Humber-UNB
Hey guys,
I'm finishing up some really challenging courses this year and I am afraid it will bring my GPA for my last 5 FCE down.
Initially, my expected GPA for my 5 FCE was a 3.9/4.0 so I was pretty hopeful about getting in.
Now my expected GPA for my last 5 FCE will most likely be around a 3.82-3.83. For schools such as U of T and York, is this competitive? Do you believe I have a shot at getting in? Thank you.

My friend, that’s beyond competitive. You will be more than fine for you GPA. Just make sure you are elaborating your nursing passion in your statement and you will be more than just fine.

Only last year. None degree courses are not taken into GPA consideration. I
Hello!
I'm applying for September 2021 & Just wanted to triple make sure...... for most accelerated programs (specifically Nippissing & Mcmaster in my case), will they consider courses taken AFTER your degree completion into your GPA calculation?
& how about for specific course requirements, such as mcmaster needing a biology, Chemistry, nutrition or kinesiology unit? will courses taken after graduation be okay?

I believe most schools have classes and clinical online, but some schools (UofT) have in-person clinical ?
