  1. Which campus are you thinking of applying to?

41 members have participated

Starting this for anyone thinking about applying to Texas Women's University's Nursing program for Spring 2019. Even though it seems like a long time from now it's never too early to start preparing to apply:happy:

Is anyone else prepping for the TEAS or has already taken it?

Do you send in teas scores and transcripts to nursingcas? There was an option to manually type in your transcripts for the nursingcas so I'm not sure if it's needed to send in transcripts.

Yes, you still have to send in your official transcript to NCAS because they need to verify the course work you are entering on the NCAS application. You also had to have sent it to TWU while completing the admissions process to the university itself.

Well my points are 11.75 so i dont think i will have a chance of getting in...

You have send it in. If you can do it tomorrow that will be great. Because they take upto 10 business days to verify it

You can try to retake the Teas

I think they do take your most recent scores and you need at least a 64 on the teas. Maybe you can retake some classes to boost up your gpa and try again next semester! You got this !!!

I'm having issues with my transcripts right now but the advisor said September first is the latest I have.

Do I also send in teas scores to nursingcas?

Official transcripts --> TWU Denton AND NursingCAS

Official teas scores --> TWU Denton ONLY

I went to an info session recently and the advisors told us that we do NOT send teas scores to nursingCAS but we can manually enter them into the nursingCAS application because that will speed up their application reviewing process

Don't be discouraged ! There's plenty more applicants and not everyone posted their scores. Your stats look great imo
