Starting this for anyone thinking about applying to Texas Women's University's Nursing program for Spring 2019. Even though it seems like a long time from now it's never too early to start preparing to apply:happy:
Is anyone else prepping for the TEAS or has already taken it?
I retook the teas today made 62 overall but i made 68 overall last time i took it. Should i submit my first time ? Do i have a chance if getting in my overall GPA is 3.15.
Unfortunately they will only count the most recent TEAS score. My second attempt was lower than my first attempt so I'll be taking it again for the third time later this week.
Even if i havent sent any of my scores to them? I cant just send the first attempt??
This is my first time applying so I'm not sure how the TEAS scores application works. But I'm guessing when you send any score all attempts will automatically be sent?
But I would highly recommend going to see an advisor. They can give you information specific to you based on your stats.

I believe even by sending your first one in, they will see attempt 1 of 2 on the top of the official report, and either ask for your second attempt or ask ATI for it. I was told by a TWU advisor that they only use the most recent attempt of the TEAS.

I believe the answer is that the transcripts just needs to be received by nursingCAS by the deadline of august 15th (or september 1st if you are taking any summer classes). I emailed a TWU advisor about this and they informed me that as long as your transcripts are received by the deadline by nursingCAS they will be set for verification purposes. If you are taking summer classes you still have to submit your whole nursingCAS application by august 15th but you just have a grace period to get those updated transcripts sent in by september 1st.
