Starting this for anyone thinking about applying to Texas Women's University's Nursing program for Spring 2019. Even though it seems like a long time from now it's never too early to start preparing to apply:happy:

Is anyone else prepping for the TEAS or has already taken it?

Hi everyone my name is Haley! I just finished the application for TWU Spring' 19 a week ago. I am so nervous, I applied to the Houston campus. I have heard from others in the past that we should hear back by the second week of October. Anyways I just had a question regarding the application, did anyone else send their transcripts to NURSINGCAS? I did and they have my TWU transcript but not my community college one from when I took 2 classes, they told me I could submit the application even though they had not received my community college transcript. I logged on today and on NURSINGCAS it still says the community college transcript has not arrived and its making me worry!

you should get in with no issues! I heard last application period the lowest admitted score at dallas was a 54, since you have 65 points I think you have a strong score personally!

How long ago did you send your community college transcript? I sent mine a couple weeks ago and it only took about 2-3 days for NursingCAS to receive/verify it.

thank you! I wish I had more time to retake the TEAS so my chances were even better, but I guess we will see how well everyone did this application period. Having to wait until October is going to be hard LOL

I went to the community college 6 days ago, I went last Wednesday. I gave them the NURSCAS form that had the barcode on it and they said they would attach it with my transcript. I went online to my webadvisor and it says on the TCC webadvisor that it was sent of on July 25th, they mailed it the the address that was on the paper!

I know!! my birthday is actually in the second week of October so that makes me even more nervous. I am hoping I get into Houston my admission score was a 50.93

They should get it by the end of this week if not early next week. I would make some calls next week if they still haven't received it. You can send it electronically. You just have to include a pdf of the barcode sheet. That's what I did because I was worried NursingCAS wouldn't get it in time via mail.

How did you include a pdf of the bar code sheet? Is option provided when you're filling out the nursingcas

How do you do that? I looked online and through TCC it would only allow me to put an address and then it would send, it was strange thats why I brought it in to the actual office.

Hello, try to call the school, or you can login to the web advisor portal, then it will show applicant or student

How did you include a pdf of the bar code sheet? Is option provided when you're filling out the nursingcas

When I requested it from my community college through their portal it gave me an option to include a pdf.

does your nursingCAS transcript status say "arrived" or "verified" or "in progress"? mine says "arrived" and "in progress" and it has been like this for a couple of weeks. i wonder if it's because i haven't officially submitted and paid for the application?
