OHSU 2018 Waitlist // Alternate List

Nursing Students School Programs

Published

Hello Everyone!

I thought I'd start a thread for those who applied to OHSU for the 2018 year and were placed on the alternate list. My hope is that we can semi- keep track of wait list movement on this forum.

I applied to the Ashland campus for the ABSN and the BSN programs. I was waitlisted as "highly likely" for the ABSN, and I have not heard from the BSN program yet.

Anyone else out there?

I am moderately likely but I am 95% sure I would decline with them. You should be excited! Is that where you're going now?!

I believe so!! I have until July 10th to make a final decision, I just hope I can afford it.

Oh well that gives you some time to mull it over :) . I forgot what the price difference was when comparing mhcc, pcc and ccc to OHSU but I bet it is around a 10-15k difference over the first two years. Not entirely sure though. I just know it is still a lot cheaper than Linfield and UP!

Yes I think it's around $17,000. But I could be wrong I haven't looked it up in awhile! Really? I didn't know Linfield was more expensive! I didn't apply there but I know a few people who did.

Ya $17k sounds right. Linfield is like $60k for two years at a minimum, but they automatically give you scholarships and all of that so it helps. It is a little quicker but definitely more expensive. Hey congrats again!!! Booyaaaa! ;)

Thank you again! I hope everything works out just the way you want it to! Maybe I'll see you at OHSU if you decide to! :)

Lol yeah I guess we will see! MajorMarvel said OHSU only called the top three alternates. That means you were top three!!! Keep me updated on what you decide :)

I'm a highly likely alternate, I've been stalking this page looking for updates. This is semi torture...

Any news yet?

I originally thought maybe 10 in each group and now I'm thinking more like 5. But who knows!

Fingers crossed for 5! Congrats on getting in by the way :D

You are probably next on the list, don't give up hope!! Have you been accepted to any other programs? Is OHSU your top choice?
