After talking with family and friends, I have decided to decline my position with OHSU Portland and attend MHCC. I hope this opens up a spot for someone who knows OHSU is where they want to go ❤️

Thank you for clarifying! I am deciding between OHSU and MHCC and trying to weigh the pros and cons of each. So your feedback really helps! If I was to go to MHCC, I definitely would continue on to OHSU to get my BSN. But I am leaning more towards just doing the whole program there. Thank you!

Thank you so much for responding!! It surprises me that you haven't had hardly any hands on experience the last couple quarters. What have clinicals been like then? I wonder if the second year at MHCC would be the same in the fact that you don't get a ton of hands on experience. Thank you for your input! :)

I would love to hear from current OHSU students!! I am debating between two schools and would love to hear some feedback on OHSUs program. Things you like? Anything you don't like? I think the cost is what is making my decision so hard. Did financial aid cover the cost for you?

I know what you mean, I refreshed my email every 5 mins lol. They never sent me an email, just called. I know you are getting in this year, probably next on the list! :) the 3 people they called have until the 10th of July I think to respond so it may take a bit longer but you'll get a spot I'm sure.

You are probably next on the list, don't give up hope!! Have you been accepted to any other programs? Is OHSU your top choice?

I originally thought maybe 10 in each group and now I'm thinking more like 5. But who knows!
