Yes. Both at the Athens campus. The first one was over Skype with two people at Augusta and the second one was in person with a professor and co-director of the program in Athens.

Hey vingram21! I posted about this awhile back, but I'll post it again.

The interview is very straightforward and not stressful at all! When you arrive at AU, park in the visitor spots. If those are taken (they probably will be) then park in the cancer center parking deck across from the main health building. When you meet up with Emily at her office, you will fill out some short paperwork asking about your pre-reqs and choice of campus. Afterwards you will meet with 2 members of the committee in the boardroom and have the formal interview. They ask alot of personal questions such as what your interests are, why you want to go into nursing, where you're from etc... The interview isn't very long, about 10-15 minutes. You should receive a decision during the end of the first week of the next month.

For preparation, I would HIGHLY suggest skimming the white pages and picking certain parts that you can relate to yourself and make connections to, as well as anything you find particularly interesting. Also try and watch a few videos on youtube about the CNL role and make sure you know what a CNL is and the role that they provide in a healthcare setting! Connect your past experiences (work/healthcare/school) in a way that exemplifies your ability to be a leader, and to be successful in the nursing program. Also, make sure you understand and are reasonably well versed on recent problems in healthcare as a whole, and why they're important.

In my opinion, the interview seems to just be a way for AU to confirm that you'll be a good fit for the program, so consider it an honor that they want to interview you! (Not everybody gets an interview) Lastly, present yourself well, arrive on time, be yourself, and thank them for the opportunity! Good luck!

Do we also have to send a copy of our transcripts to admissions?

Hey guys, I have quick question. Every time I check the webpage for the Augusta University application check, it just says my application is incomplete. It says it is missing GRE scores, but it shows that I took the MAT, as well as all other documents that are needed? I was wondering if anyone else is encountering this as well?
Hey @johndoecousin, did you ever solve the problem or figure it out? Because I have the same problem and I called the admission office and they told me everything is fine

Hi everyone! I interviewed on the January 12th. After my interview, they told me that I would hear back in 2 to 3 weeks. Friday will be 2 weeks. Has anyone else heard anything? I can't seem to find this BAC calendar that has the admission committee date.

    Thanks!

    vingram,

Have you checked the Applicant Status Check website for Augusta U? I also interviewed January 12th and my status changed yesterday to "Decision made by Admissions Committee; notification is by mail."

Here is the link to the status check! Let me know if your status changed as well

Just a little tip for those of y'all checking your admissions status. If it says you need to submit a background consent form, then I believe it means you've been accepted! Now, I'm not 100% certain about this, but this was certainly true in my case and quite a few others'.
