I don't see a group yet started for admission to the Fall 2018's Augusta U MSN/CNL program. I have read through the forum of the Fall 2017 group and it seems to have been very informative!
I am excited once this group starts getting some members, so we can discuss the process (and adventure?!) of applying and finishing pre-reqs!
I am a second career applicant who works full time as an office assistant to two MDs and 1 BSN now. I have previously been a CNA and worked as a PCT in a small rural hospital on the med/surg floor, but then went on to get a BA in English from UGA. After having been an assistant for 4 years and out of school for quite a few more, I am excited about starting this RN program and still question why I didn't do this from the beginning :-) Oh well, I feel I have a lot of real world experience now and I am a much better learner then before! I have four pre-reqs left. A&P 1 and 2, Microbiology, and Human Development. I am planning on trying to CLEP the Human Development course this fall. Currently in the waiting process for acceptance into the Perimeter Campus of Georgia State University to start the other courses.
Once I submitted my application, it took only 6 days to receive an email with an invitation for an interview. After my interview date, it was about 19 days until I received my acceptance letter. Just keep a look out on your email for the interview.
hello everyone. so i received my fall 2017 grades and i'm not positive but calculated my gpa to still be a 2.9. i am retaking the GRE this weekend and know i'm going to do well. Let's say i score a 315 on the GRE. what should i do? i have already submitted everything just need to send this semester transcripts and new GRE scores. emailed the director and she stated they expect to have all decisions made by march. should i take a winter session course somewhere to try and get a 3.0?? Would i possibly still have a chance of getting into the program.? thank you good luck to everyone btw
@stallingsk91 i wouldn't count yourself out just because you have less than a 3.0! If you're well rounded, score well on the GRE, you can still get an interview and get in! Don't count yourself out!

Okay, great! thank you! I applied to the Athens Campus. I'm not sure if that is different from the Augusta campus or not!
