Augusta U- MSN/CNL- Fall 2018 Entry

I don't see a group yet started for admission to the Fall 2018's Augusta U MSN/CNL program. I have read through the forum of the Fall 2017 group and it seems to have been very informative!

I am excited once this group starts getting some members, so we can discuss the process (and adventure?!) of applying and finishing pre-reqs!

I am a second career applicant who works full time as an office assistant to two MDs and 1 BSN now. I have previously been a CNA and worked as a PCT in a small rural hospital on the med/surg floor, but then went on to get a BA in English from UGA. After having been an assistant for 4 years and out of school for quite a few more, I am excited about starting this RN program and still question why I didn't do this from the beginning :-) Oh well, I feel I have a lot of real world experience now and I am a much better learner then before! I have four pre-reqs left. A&P 1 and 2, Microbiology, and Human Development. I am planning on trying to CLEP the Human Development course this fall. Currently in the waiting process for acceptance into the Perimeter Campus of Georgia State University to start the other courses.

so i just took my 2nd GRE today and got a 281. i'm so sad aside from my 2.9 GPA. I probably wouldn't have enough time to take another GRE exam. Should i just wait until next year to apply for fall 2019 and boost my GRE and get a higher GRE score?? all i have right now is a 2.9 and a 281? i am still applying but i am not sure how many people applied for fall 2018 and don't think they would put me on a waiting list with my stats

@nursetobe10 I don't know off the top of my head, but you can look at the nursing calander and look for "BAC meeting"!

For some reason it asks for a login and password whenever I go in to look at the CON calendar? Im not sure why!

Hi everyone,

Thank you for your comments and encouragement. I am excited to be part of the the Athens campus class in Fall 2018.

Just would like to share my timelines in case they might be helpful to someone.

10/04 Applications submitted.

10/11 Was invited for an interview by email.

10/20 Was interviewed on the Athens campus

10/23 Was asked for additional materials as I was missing some documents under NursingCAS.

12/05 Received official decision letter in mail.

Hello. i have searched high and low and I could not find it anywhere or I am overlooking it. If you don't mind will you please tell me where you found it? I went to the same calendar you was talking about in your previous post and went to calendar, but I was unable to find the BAC Meeting she mentioned above.
