Okay... so I might be crazy...

Published

I signed up for fall classes today. A&P I, Chem, Stats, and Psych. Okay I am definitely crazy!:rollBut I don't have kids and I don't have to have a job (I have one now, but trust me I am not dumb enough to work, even part time, while taking this course load) so I will be completely and totally focused on school. I'm not too worried about it because NS will be a million times harder. I took A&P, Chem, and Psych in high school (I just graduated in 07) so I will at least have the basic foundations of knowledge for those classes which can only help me. Plus I have great, highly recommended profs. But I'm still crazy. :chuckle

Hi Serendipity,

Sounds like the course load I took during full time undergrad studies...it's a lot of work, but if you're interested and engaged in your courses, it's a great time! You don't have heavy demands outside of school, and I do think you're wise not to work at the same time...you'll do great! Good luck!

A&P1

Micro

good luck! this is similar to what i`m taking right now:

sociology

statistics

o. chem

i`m doing pretty good, all A`s with a B in anatomy & a B in physio. its all about time management &commitment. let us know how it works out!

Don't worry if people tell you that you are crazy, it actually gives you more motivation to succeed! As others have said, it's definately all about time management. Here's my schedule this term:

Anatomy and Physiology II

General Chemistry I

Abnormal Psychology

2 Nutrition classes (yeah, different colleges require you take different Nutrition classes).

I also volunteered 2 days a week through the term at a Ski Resort on their Ski Patrol and I work a full time Information Technology job. The first couple of weeks is when you will stress, but also when you find how to fit it all in. I'm 2 weeks away from the end of the semester am 4-pointing all of my classes. It's rough, thats for sure, but it all depends on how well you can manage your time and how determined you are to succeed. Good luck, and I'm sure you'll do just fine.

If you're not working, you'll do fine. Good for you for getting some of this out of the way!!

:) Wish you lots of luck! I had to take Chem before I could take my A&P class. You're very lucky that you can take so many classes at once. I dearly wish that I only had to focus on school and no other responsibilities. Enjoy it. Go with it! I hope you succeed and exceed even your own expectations.

I keep getting told I'm crazy too hah. I taking A&P1, Micro, and Human G&D this summer. I don't have kids or work either so hopefully we'll both be fine! Good luck!
