okay is anyone else bored yet?

I know what everyone means. I've been out for a week now and I don't know what to do with myself now that I don't have anymore studying to do for another 2 weeks. I just come online like 3-4 times a day to check this forum out. It's not like I have anything better to do.

Ditto! I too am bored out of my mind. I have already read and outlined a chapter for next quarter, made flash cards for patho and can't do any more until the loan check comes in next wednesday when I can buy the rest of my books. Glad to know I'm in good company!

I just finished my first semester of my rad tech program on Friday, I got a 4.0 for the semester which I am really excited about. I am also quitting my full-time job on Christmas Eve, which I am also really excited about.
But I am bored out of my mind! So far, I have watched to entire first season of Sex and the City, cleaned the house, fed the cat, twice, took a nap, gone on a job interview, and I am still bored! I was so bored that I even started next semester's homework! what is wrong with me? why can't I just relax and enjoy the time off? what am I going to be like next week when I am neither working nor going to school? God help me! anyone else bored already or am I just a freak?

I feel the same way. Seems like when the bug bites it won't let go. I will have soon taken 4 Excelsior College exams in a month. I just want to get finished, and it seems like until I do there will be no vacation, no romance novels...nothing else to life until I'm finished.

I WISH I could be bored! I've got a midterm for A&P II on Thursday that I have to cram for, in between wrapping gifts and going grocery shopping.

Next week I'll be bored, though! LOL

NO WAY! LOL! Maybe by the end of the 3rd week I might feel a little bored, but it's hardly sunk in that I'm on break. Maybe by the 2nd week it will feel like I'm on break...:rotfl:

Yes, I'm going crazy !! I've watched the bold and the beautiful, as the world turns and Dr. Phil every day for a week now ! I've actually had time to clean my house and catch up on the laundry. My son's still in school until tommorrow. I just don't know what to do with myself. I'm so used to studying 24-7 that I'm not sure what to do now !

Yuppers thats me too! I also had surgery on 12/13/04 so I'm recovering from that which means I'm home all day. Normally I work full time and go to school full time evenings/weekends. So now...I have ta da...none of either! I do have my books though so I will probably start reading soon........

ok, let's see... I've not only cleaned my apartment but I have disinfected everything with gel bleach and rewashed all my clothes just because my roommates smoked all semester and now that they are gone for a month I want fresh smelling clothes. I stripped my jet black hair and went with a light brown/cinnamon color. Went to Ikea and bought a book shelf and comfortable huge chair to chill and read in.(Had to put those together with this weird pipe screw thing) I also have rearranged my room furniture, posters, TV's, and shoes! I also made a huge pot of homemade chicken broth last night and I contacted my teachers for next semester begging them to send me the syllabi early. They didn't want to hand out till January 19 in order to "force" us to relax:Melody: ...hum... it's been less than a week and I'm out of things to do...I would be christmas shopping but I have no money~so that took care of that real quick!:chuckle So until January I'll just hang out here!Happy Holidays Everyone!!:Santa1:

I'm sure that this must be driving all of nurses who are working crazy. They are trying to make sure that everything gets done during their shift and wish probably for a day or two of boredom. Thank God I'm going to NY on Thursday. I'm just so unmotivated now:o . I'm actually ashamed at myself for wasting this time, but I'm just finding myself really down in the dumps.

Well, I'm not bored at all. I can't believe some of y'all are looking forward to going back to school already! Our vacation plans got delayed until Sunday and I'm still very much looking forward to leaving town for a while to thaw out from this freezing cold and to have a little fun. It was 0 degrees outside most of the day today, but it feels much colder than that. BRRRRRRRR!!!!!!!!!!!
