I start NS in August, super excited and scared, want to know who all is so I can keep track when fall comes and we can share with each other :D

congratulations everyone!! i am starting my nursing program in the fall, in western massachusetts. we have an orientation coming up in the middle of may-- i can't wait! we are going to be scheduling our classes, getting our book list, etc. glad to share my journey with anyone and everyone, pm me if you want. can't wait to read everyone's stories! i too believe that learning is a lifelong journey and that one must try to realize their full potential, given the necessary prerequisite.

i will be starting nursing as a 2nd career (age 49); so positive and forward thinking people like you give me great hope and encouragement.

i will be starting nursing school in the fall at tvcc in kaufman, tx. i am also an older student (turn 49 this month). our first orientation is scheduled for this friday.

Just found this thread...I got my acceptance letter on April 4th! Wahoooo!!! Starting August 24th also..SUPER excited but the more I read on allnurses, I get more nervous! Ahhh!

I start a BSN program this fall. First year is all pre reqs, but i'm still very very excited!

I still have to finish my last 2 pre-reqs (A & P II and Micro) this summer with "C"s or better and then I start nursing school in the fall. I was initially on a wait list and was offered a seat in the program about 3 weeks ago. I was so excited to come off the wait list. I start my nursing classes in August. Do all nursing students take pretty much the same classes, regardless of school of attendance? My fall lineup of classes are: Professional Nursing Practice (3 credits), Pathophysiology (3 credits), Intro to Pharmacology (2 credits), Health Assess/Well Indiv (4 credits w/lab), and Skills/Essen of Nursing Practices (4 credits w/lab). I'll have about 2 weeks in between the end of summer school and my next meeting with my nursing school cohort (about 80 of us). Well good luck & congratulations to us all!
