I start NS in August, super excited and scared, want to know who all is so I can keep track when fall comes and we can share with each other
I am so excited for all of us, we will have to make sure to keep this bumped as time goes on. Our orientation is the first day of class.
Registration for fall semester opens April 24th, but us nursing students have to wait until the beginning of summer when we get some packet BOOOOOO I am to excited I don't want to have to wait!!! I am also going on vacation 3 weeks this summer and with my luck it will come during that time!!
I waited 3 years before getting my acceptance email, (lol thankfully the email went through) and by August I would have waited 3.5 years!!!
Congrats, Seasoned hopeful!!
I too believe that learning is a lifelong journey and that one must try to realize their full potential, given the necessary prerequisite.
I will be starting nursing as a 2nd career (age 49); so positive and forward thinking people like you give me great hope and encouragement.
To all hopefuls-stay positive, do what is required-age should not limit-the sky is the limit. Good Luck-all
I got my official letter today (even though I knew I was already accepted). I have much to do beforehand..gotta get CPR certified through the American Heart Association (even though I'm already certified) and I have to take a nursing assistant course in July! Orientation is August 25th, though. I can't wait!
Good luck with algebra and practice, practice, practice. You could find practice exercises, quiz and simple test re algebra by typing 'algebra for grade7-12. Put one grade at a time and build up from there. Now where more effort is needed is one step closer to improving those grades. Happy practicing.
I bought Dosage and Calculations software, Pharmacology Made Incredibly Easy book and Pharm Flash Cards, oh and Fluids and Electrolytes made incredibly easy as well to study over the summer to make it all less stressful when school starts. I know those classes will be the hardest for me.
