OHSU ABSN 2021

Hi,

I was just wondering if anyone else is applying for the ABSN at OHSU for 2021? I just submit my application for the Ashland campus and would love to connect with other people who are applying! I'm feeling pretty nervous about how competitive the program is ?

How much do you think I should panic if my Word word count was 1 fewer than the Google Doc count I claimed? ?

I guess that depends on if it put you over the word limit?

I was accepted! 
 

ABS to DNP-PNP

 

They only had two spots for their pediatric program! So if the other future student is in here, please send me a message!!

I’m still waiting to hear about the ABSN to DNP-CNM program, anyone heard yet? Expecting results this or next week.

What fantastic news-- congrats! We're proud of you. ?

About how long did they take to notify you of your acceptance since your interview? I was just interviewed on Tuesday for the ABSN-DNP FNP program and I'm already obsessed about checking my email even though I won't know for a week or two.

I interviewed February 9th. I was told it would be 2-3 weeks before I’d get the results. So, this was a very pleasant surprise!!

Did they call or email you the great news?

Also, how did you feel about your interview? I thought mine went well and I was my usual self, but now I am overthinking everything.

Last year, I left my interview feeling totally useless. I over prepared and the questions they asked were very simple but I was forcing scripted answers. 
 

this year I was more relaxed. I knew what to expect but I also knew that they wanted genuine applicants. So I totally let my guard down and told myself that this interview was all about me and not about fitting the mold. 
 

I left second guessing a few things and ran through the “coulda woulda shoulda” thoughts. But I reminded myself that every applicant has the same thoughts. Not everyone will have the perfect answers. They even corrected me on a few things and I humbly accepted their feedback with a smile on my face.

Anyone know the expected date for ABS-FNP decisions? Ashland campus

No, but I do know that the ABSN-FNP for Portland said that by the first week of March they would have decisions. I'm not sure if the interview dates were the same for Ashland, if so, then tomorrow is the last day for ABSN-FNP interviews and admissions should have a good idea by then.

Correct me if I'm wrong, there are 6 spots in Ashland and 6 in Portland for the ABSN-FNP, correct?
