OHSU ABSN 2021

Hi,

I was just wondering if anyone else is applying for the ABSN at OHSU for 2021? I just submit my application for the Ashland campus and would love to connect with other people who are applying! I'm feeling pretty nervous about how competitive the program is ?

No ? I’ve been obsessively checking my email haha. I think they’ll send them this week or early  next week, they usually go out around the 20th I think and I feel like they have to give enough notice if people need to take time off work for the Friday interviews

At this point I’m relatively certain I won’t be offered a seat at OHSU, which really bums me out. They have the perfect program for what I want to do - ABS-PMHNP. All the other programs that I’ve applied to don’t get me to the NP level in psych, just an ELMSN or CNS. Oh well. Does anyone know if they accept anyone who hasn’t been offered an interview?

I have a question for people applied for ABSN or 3 year program. I received a email about creating a pin and about financial aid. Is that normal? I haven’t received anything about being invited for the interview questions. So I’m just so confused. I’m hoping this is a good thing. Any help would be amazing. Thank you. Good luck everyone.

Heya @Bande1016 I also received the financial aid email this morning. I think it's disconnected from the admissions system, so doesn't mean much other than that they received your FAFSA. If you follow all the links it tells you you're missing "admission to an aid eligible program". Or at least that's what mine said. Which I think means that they haven't made decisions yet, rather than that it's a weird sneaky way to tell that you didn't get in. At least, that's what I'm hoping.

I’m sure it’s a possibility! I would just email admissions and ask what the status of your application is at this point.

Well I can tell you this - I emailed them today to ask if they will be accepting applicants who were not invited for an interview, and they said no. So at least for my pgm, the ABS-PMHNP one, this means I did not get in, and she encouraged me to reapply ?

You could email along those lines to get an answer I think.

I applied for the OHSU ABSN Summer cohort in Ashland. I have not seen anything about any other applicants receiving invites yet (at least to Ashland's ABSN.) I am sorry to hear that. When is your program's interview dates?
