  1. Eli! and I'll send you the link to the ABSN-DNP group I made. I think they only accepted 6 FNP!! Congrats!
  2. Hey guys! If you're accepted into an ABS to DNP program send me an email! I'll get everyone together in some sort of social media group or messenger these programs are small, so let's stick together! congrats!
  3. Last year, I left my interview feeling totally useless. I over prepared and the questions they asked were very simple but I was forcing scripted answers. this year I was more relaxed. I knew what to expect but I also knew that they wanted genuine applicants. So I totally let my guard down and told myself that this interview was all about me and not about fitting the mold. I left second guessing a few things and ran through the “coulda woulda shoulda” thoughts. But I reminded myself that every applicant has the same thoughts. Not everyone will have the perfect answers. They even corrected me on a few things and I humbly accepted their feedback with a smile on my face.
  4. I interviewed February 9th. I was told it would be 2-3 weeks before I’d get the results. So, this was a very pleasant surprise!!
  5. I was accepted! ABS to DNP-PNP They only had two spots for their pediatric program! So if the other future student is in here, please send me a message!! good luck everyone!
  6. They actually didn’t ask me anything situational or anything about my application. In fact, I kept using things from my application in my answers and it felt pretty forced. I think they really want to genuinely know YOU and see if you’ll make a good fit for the program.
  7. So I had my interview last year. They asked me basic questions about if I understood the role of NPs and if I was aware of the programs time commitment. They didn’t ask me anything that I wasn’t prepared for.
  8. I also got an interview invitation. ABSN-PNP Scheduled February 8
  9. Just received interview invitation via email at 12:03 ABSN to PNP
  10. Congrats skyler!! still have my fingers crossed for the PNP program.
  11. Still haven’t heard anything. Definitely feeling more and more discouraged. The waiting game is brutal.
  12. I applied to ABSN to DNP-PNP. Was waitlisted last year, haven’t heard anything about interviews this year. (Except a timeframe)
  13. I was waitlisted last year for the ABSN to PNP program. I was devastated. I also asked what I could improve on and was told I was competitive but there weren’t enough spots. (Only 4) I’ve reapplied but I’m feeling so discouraged. This is my last year before my credits begin expiring and I've worked so incredibly hard to get to this point. so has anyone else received interview invited for the ABSN to DNP programs?
  14. Decisions should all be out for Portland (from what I understand)
