Now that the application deadline has passed, I feel comfortable finally starting a post. Just curious to hear who else applied to this program. It's fascinating to me to hear about people's different experiences, stats, expectations, etc. I'm also wondering what other programs people might've applied to? I got my submission in for the Portland ABSN to FNP/DNP program as well.

I can't say with 100% certainty but going off the fact they didn't collect and/or look at resumes, work history, awards, achievements, etc., I'm going to say it doesn't matter simply because there's no way they could know, short of someone working for the school of nursing.
If you haven't gotten an interview email by now... does that mean rejection? It said in the email first round of interview dates will be sent BY Feb 13th, up until the interview dates themselves... slightly confused / worried / bummed.
I have an interview on Friday! I'm so nervous now that it's a week away. Any tips? I have my interview outfit but forgot to get a bag. I was planning on bringing obviously my keys, a pen, and a notepad. I'm thinking I'll leave my phone behind in my car because I don't want to be tempted with it. Do I need a bag?
Anyone familiar with group interview styles? What about the proctored essay! Ah soo nervous!

Oh man, I hadn't even considered a bag and am now adding that onto my list of things to freak out about. What're you planning on wearing? I unfortunately know nothing about the general line of questioning or proctored essay topics because they're so tight-lipped and don't want people passing information out, so I'm anxious there as well.
