You have just given me so many virtual hugs!! :inlove: I have been such an emotional mess over this and honestly, none of you have any idea how much all your words and encouragement have lifted me up! I am so thankful for the support. I will wait this out and see what happens - but I will definitely look at these other options that some of you have provided. THANK YOU!

I'm in the same boat you are. I'm pretty sure OSU is getting ready to tell me to take a long walk off a short pier. Oh, well. C'est la vie, right? Take a look at Kent State and Cleveland State. Both have Accelerated BSN programs. That's what I'm doing. Congrats to everyone who made it in!

I haven't heard a peep. I have people saying I should call the CON, but I'm thinking that I'll call and say, "I want an answer!" and they'll say, "Oh, ok: NO." It's a drag.

If you want to call them, I think it's appropriate if you phrase it like "I wanted to check in and see if there were any updates you could give me". The admissions staff has all been very kind and understanding of the anxiety that comes up in this process - at least that's been my experience.

My application status is still "pending" as well. I was accepted to Columbia University's MDE/DNP program (psych speciality) on Monday, so feel very relieved that I have that option. I did not apply to many schools...only programs I am deeply interested in. I'm from NY and currently live in Ohio, and really love both Columbia and OSU. They've both been very impressive. I hope to hear back from OSU soon! The wait is challenging, to say the least.

@Ricklesworth lol. For sure let us know. I'm rooting for you (cause I know you want to get in, but also cause your sense of humor is hilarious. You need some sarcastic remarks being thrown around when you're wrist deep in c-diff surprise)

@astriker Congrats on the admittance to Columbia! I hope you get accepted to OSU too. It would be cool to have a bunch of us finally meet up in person. The wait really is the hardest part, it's frustrating, challenging and tears at your mental well being. I hope that you find out soon or at least can get an update. I know that in past years some people have been notified as late as the day before the deadline to be notified and these were individuals who were accepted. So I wouldn't take the radio silence as a negative.
