Ohio State Master's Entry Summer 2016

Published

Hello! Has anyone out there applied to the Entry Master's Program at Ohio State for the Summer 2016 start?

Thanks, everyone!

Hey gang,

I'll be working Saturday (as my dad calls it, "annoying the ill"), so have one (or 5) for me at the Pint House!

Toothless,

C-diff surprise! What's the surprise?

The surprise is that it ran onto the floor and you should probably wear shoe covers. Enjoy!

You guys have all been great. I've enjoyed seeing everyone gear up for the start of summer semester. Even if I don't get in, it's nice to see that a lot of deserving people did. I'll totally be jealous, but happy for all of you just the same!

Sorry my post got cut off!I am not on Facebook right now but I'm considering it to get in touch with people. I just got my buckeye mail address assigned to me so I do have an address. Am relieved not to be starting so soon. Are we supposed to have care hours or am I mistaken? I just completed cna last week.

We only need to have taken the CNA course, we don't have to take the state test

how was the CNA course btw, i am taking it in April at CSCC

I took cna at premier choice health and it was fine. Done in 2 weeks. Learned some basic nursing skills but the coursework was fairly redundant to what we have already taken. We did clinical hrs at Darby glen which is where cscc does theirs also I beleive. I know alia health also offers a 2 week course.

How much do the two week courses cost?

My class at PCH was 395. You also need to buy a set of navy blue scrubs. They sell them for 20. They loan you the book as part of your class fee so you will not have to purchase it. I found it to be comparable in cost to cscc based on the tuition hours but I could compress my time in class. When I checked Alia was about the same. There is also one in the Lennox center by campus but I forget the name.

I am graduating this May' 2016 from The Ohio State University's PMHNP program. it has been a wonderful learning experience.

I am graduating from the Traditional grad entry PMHNP program on May 8th, 2016 from The Ohio State University. It has been a wonderful learning experience.

.

Congrats @pmhnp5!!!! I will be starting the PMHNP program in June. I am soon excited and so glad you've had a good experience. Question for you: did you work during the program and if so how much?

When I was accepted into the program in 2014, I did not hear anything until around the second week in April if I was accepted or not. I am in the PMHNP program now and graduating May 8th this year:)
