Cathy Lew-
What a story! I was smiling, nodding my head and then shaking my head as I related to every single bit of your story! Sounds like you needed a "liquid dinner" after that night!

Thanks for the story, that was great and I felt like I had a day slightly better than that yesterday which makes me hopeful to go back tomorrow.
On a side note, when I was in nursing school I worked as a Bartender and Cocktail waitress and I dreaded those full moon nights for the same reasons as now!
Good luck with the full moon!!:sofahider

It's not just night shift. I can always tell when it's full moon, even though I work days. Maybe that's because I used to work nights in the ED, though, so my skills are finely tuned.

I believe in the full moon thing quite a bit. I work on Al and trust me it can get crazy! Last week was the week from hell! I swear none of this stuff happens to the other nurses. I even asked one of the aids if i had a full moon over my head

You know they reckon they have done research on 'full moons' to see if it has an effect on people and came up with the conclusion that it has no effect what so ever.
So who ever did that research needs to come and work where I work and repeat the research because all hell breaks loose, each and every full moon.
The patients are more 'nutty' and the staff well they moan complain and argue all around the same time!
