Officially a Graduate Nurse

Today was my final exam....and school is finally OVER! After 4 1/2 yrs of extremely hard work, it's graduation time. It still seems so surreal. I don't seem as excited as I know I should be. Is this normal to feel this way? I figured I'd be so ecsatic I wouldn't be able to see straight. Maybe during pinning ceremony the excitement will "HIT" me. :rolleyes:

It didn't hit me until my pinning ceremony that school was actually over, I'd be taking NCLEX, and starting my life as a professional nurse.

I know exactly how you feel! I finished my final this past Wednesday and it still doesn't feel real to me either... It's true 4 years does fly by.... I'm soooo happy for us! When's your pinning ceremony? Mine is on the 9th!!!:D

My pinning is on the 8th....and I walk the stage on the 9th. CONGRATS TO YOU! I think the excitment will be a little more intense when we have our ceremonies.:D

I just finished too! It hasn't totally hit me. I thinking graduation or pinning might do it....

Congratulations to ALL the new grads. I finished in January; just passed NCLEX RN 4/12/08.... It is all very gratifying. But I am so tired of reading at this point :bugeyes: I refuse to pick up the newspaper. I am going to have a serious summer VACATION. You guys should take one also. YOU DESERVE IT!:D
