Nothing done yet - no physical, no uniforms, no CPR nothing!!! Anyone want to do CPR together if possible?? Also, who wants to help me get together ~$1500 in the next 6w so I can pay for classes, books and the first month of $600/mo daycare?? Ahhhhhh!!!

Books online--why I wanted ISBN's, lol! Much cheaper than new (which is outrageous)...
I *SO* hope I am not breaking rules posting these! If so, feel free to delete :)
Anytime Jenn! :)I have a bunch of Nursing students in my Microbiology class that just finished Fundamentals last semester. I'll ask them if they want to sell their books and let you all know if anyone's interested in buying them.
(If they're smart, they will want to keep them to study for NCLEX...)
I don't miss Microbiology :) I think I retained enough to get by, and I earned A's...but, nope, I don't miss it!!

So no luck if you are trying to buy from someone who just completed their first semester.
I'd like to say that the typos are driving me nuts in the packet.
I'd love to know when I can use my financial aid as well it would be great if I could get my stuff while at orientation so I don't have to drag my girls to the book store with me. They really aren't much of a help.
Well off to pack for my weekend trip. Then off to bed at least I can sleep in (Sad I call sleeping in getting up at 6:30 instead of 4 ish)
Yeah that's true they may not be willing to sell them. But I'll still ask, maybe they'll sell the dvd at least.I really like Microbiology alot! Makes me more of a germaphobe though lol.. I might get two A's or one B in lecture and an A in lab, depending on the last two tests.
Don't get me wrong, Micro was fascinating. Just really nasty, and I def did NOT need anything to make me more of a germaphobe. My test-tube with the unknown slipped from my gloved hand and splashed onto my face and all over the table...and I hyperventilated in front of the entire class. THAT wasn't humiliating at all...LOL! It was the worst!! And now I will obsess about the enteric that was splashed over my face, ever wondering about the long-term implications of having slippery gloves...
Sweet.

Oh ok thanks, didn't read that part. I guess I'll just check around with some friends.
Jenn, omg I'm soooo sorry that happened to you!! I have to admit I did laugh out loud from the way you explained it. I know I probably would've freaked too!! What was your unknown bacteria? Mine was Salmonella and I guessed it right.
Hope everyone has a safe and fun 4th of July weekend!!

I also received my financial aid award letter today too. Which is a little refreshing but I don't know when I'll be able to use some of the extra money for supplies. Does anyone know?
