Nothing done yet - no physical, no uniforms, no CPR nothing!!! Anyone want to do CPR together if possible?? Also, who wants to help me get together ~$1500 in the next 6w so I can pay for classes, books and the first month of $600/mo daycare?? Ahhhhhh!!!
OK...for all you in the RN program...I went through the book list and entered all the ISBNs into Amazon and only found a handful available for purchase. I highly doubt any new RN student will sell them (since they'll prolly need them going forward). Also, looking at the required books for Fundamentals...are there TWO packages we have to buy?? Or is it optional (package 1 or 2)?? I bought my lab coat and found the Landau Jacket model #'s available on the internet for cheap, but why do they NOT want us to purchase any uniforms until AFTER orientation?? Hope everyone has a great and safe 4th!! Good luck with all these requirements going on.
For anyone looking for a stethoscope, I found some today on craigslist, also some blood pressure cuff sets. I am looking at getting a kila stethoscope. Any input? I haven't found anything really bad about them, so far.:w00t:

I am getting worried, too. ALTHOUGH...Bear in mind that today being the all-important 5th of July, there is no mail delivery :) I plan to call the school tomorrow to check. Did you check your major on wise?
I have been checking WISE and it hasn't been changed yet. That is also getting me worried... I got my stethoscope on Saturday, though! It's so orange and lovely. I also got a penlight and bandage scissors.
lol I am an odd one. I had a couple of friends in from out of town and we were trying to listen to each other. Boobs kinda get in the way. It was definitely cool, though! But the ear pieces I have to admit hurt. Then again, I think iPod ear buds are excrutiating, too.
I am DYING to order my books so I can start reading & watching the DVD's. WTH is wrong with me!! I guess I should utilize my excitement (um, AND my line of credit) while it is still alive and kicking! bwa ha ha...

They hurt? I thought maybe Littman's would be better earpieces since they are more expensive. I remember in A&P 2 the stethoscopes hurt so bad but I thought cause they were just cheap.
