  1. Good luck everyone on our first exam!! Don't forget to look at the Nursing handbook for any test questions that might be asked from it: http://phcc.edu/academics/programs/nursinghandbook.pdf
  2. Scrapworking, I have not seen a change on my WISE yet either. I received two calls last week, one from Josh and one from Roger but their messages went straight to voicemail because they called during class. I'll give them a call tomorrow during lunch . Also I want to talk to Terry at the business office as well. I hope it gets figured out before Pell disbursement. I had all the intentions today to really study and do everything but I realize I need to study alone because I get way too distracted!!! So probably I'll be in class early to read and try to even read during lunch.
  3. tnbutterfly, thank you! I love it lol!!
  4. LOL don't worry we are going to have that done right after the first test!!! I'm going to make sure it's done by the end of September. :) Jenn, trust me I felt the same way today as you did! I'm hoping to catch up tomorrow because today was like a waste for me. I just can't study at home at all. I think what I'm going to have to do is camp out at the school library and have a coffee IV drip in me at all times to make it through this.
  5. I just finished all the definitions today at least. My procrastinating ways need to change soon, I used to get by with cram studying but I know I can't with this program. *Sigh* I'll catch up tomorrow and Monday hopefully.
  6. Hey Brie! Welcome to allnurses. :) How's the studying going?
  7. I haven't studied today and feeling very distracted. I need some motivation...
  8. No, it's still down. Becky let one of the instructors know that it didn't work for any of us even with Foxfire and they are working on it again.
  9. I really love our class!! I think it's really fun so far! Meeting everyone is great, it's like a big social hour most of the time. Wish I had time to chat with everyone though. I've been reading P & P but mostly skimming for main concepts and topics that are in the lectures. I'm glad I'm finally organized and those two EGDT tests on communication were easy. How's everyone else feeling so far?
  10. Just finished reading everything on Angel. So much stuff!!!
  11. Kchandler, yes can you please pm me also how you got that switched because we all have the same caseworker and I was told a few weeks ago PELL had to pay tuition first. I really would love to get my funds for tuition from the sponsorship as well because that's what the hospital contract states. Does it show up that you still have PELL money even if WIA paid for it? I could really use that $1070 PELL paid so any info would be great! Thanks :)
  12. The bookstore ladies let Becky and I go into the bathroom outside to try them on. I'm sure they'll let you too.
  13. Oh ok I was just curious on what had happened to her. I hope all of you get your funds in time. I can wait for the access code, it's not that big a deal lol! Kchandler, not sure if WIA will switch tuition if you get PELL to cover it. That's what they told me anyway. I hope for you or anyone else it's different. I have a full PELL but if there is another way to get WIA to pay for tuition instead I'm all for it!
  14. Aja is fine by me!! Brandon is still going to East. I don't know who else though? I still haven't gotten my funds from Belinda for the access code for the CPS clicker. I don't understand why Sheila isn't handling it anymore, she got things done fast.
