October NCLEX takers: MOTIVATE

Published

If you are taking NCLEX in October as I am here is a place to get motivated. As of today you have approximately 4-8 weeks to prepare for this life changing test. That is more than enough time if you haven't started yet.

Now crack open whatever review book you have and hit it because now is the time to begin. Start typing :typing those review sheets, looking over rationales start with the stuff you know you need help with and feel like :banghead: because by the end of your study time you'll be up to the stuff you do know and you'll hopefully feel more comfortable at test time... or maybe you won't.

Anybody else motivating tips, or study tips for NCLEX

I used the same thing and I did kaplan questions. We have done what we could the rest is up to God/ Good luck:heartbeat

Hi Guys!

I am still in school, but will graduate with my BSN in less than 80 days! I will be taking NCLEX in January and am starting to study in October. So overwhelming! Any tips? What is working? I have Saunders. Help please

Praying for all of you to pass!

I'm taking the NCLEX-RN October 7th. I'm currently just using Kaplan and scoring 55-65% on both the QTrainers and the QBank. My school used ATI during our program, however I did not find it helpful. Right now, I seem to be scoring lower in Basic Care and Comfort, Physiological Integrity and Pharmacology. I really need to focus this coming week on those weak subject areas.

I'm trying really hard to keep calm but it's so difficult. I wasn't even planning on telling fellow classmates when I was taking the exam but I found out 4 of us are attending the same center and at the same time. We need to stay strong and have faith - it'll happen. I'm praying to God it will.

see we have 2 October support threads so merged together

Best of luck to you all

I completely understand. On Kaplan whenever I take tests I use the incorrect and unused only option which I think has helped me get a higher score though, but I do feel as if I understand a lot of things better. I am nervous about pharm too because I think that is my weakest. I know it's hard to stay positive sometimes. I have my up and down days just like you...like today I felt good until I took another test and my luck went down again :sniff:. It is hard, but I know you can do this. You will definitely be in my prayers and if you need any help, I will try my best. I am taking the NCLEX-PN.

You are RIGHT!!! We both can do this!!! :) I will keep you posted on things. Keep me posted on how your doing. I'll keep you in my prayers as well!!

Thanks again!!! Have a great weekend!!

So guys I couldn't wait until Oct. I have taken NCLEX as of this morning at 8AM and I am waiting for results.:imbar

Of coursed I tried the Pearson Vue trick... and got the good message. Cut off at 75 questions as I prayed for more questions to prove myself. Hopefully I didn't need it. The was like others have posted numerous delegation, infection control, and medications. I had not one math question plenty of SATA. No diagrams or put in order I will let everyone know if I m AnalegnaRN:redbeathe

I was also nervous because I am not doing so great in Kaplan. What is your score in Kaplan? I have heard that Saunders is too easy, but I did use it to review it for content if I wasn't doing so well in subjects. Are you looking over infection control? I have had so many people to tell me to focus on that and there is a link on here that helps you memorize it better. If you need it then let know and I will send it to you. I am so nervous that I haven't scheduled a date yet, but I will next week.

Hai Can you give the link that helps to memorize infection control. Thank You !

Scroll down until you see where they are talking about the infection control

how is everyone doing with studying? I read over some things today and did 100 questions and this has been my worst day. I can say that I wasn't very focused on doing questions...I still am disappointed though. I hope everyone has had a wonderful day!
