  1. I took the test Friday and am still waiting for my results. My friends who took it Wednesday are still waiting too. I only had 75 questions and had the good pop-up from PVT, but then had two people tell me they each knew of someone who took Kaplan and failed at 75 and 78. Oh well, as my hubby says, what is done is done. It is supposed to be a rough test and it is. Will keep you all posted....Betsy
  2. PS: Penny, how many questions did you get? And what state did you test in? Did you do BSN or ADN in school?
  3. iluvnursing07, have you tried goint to your state BON's website? In CA, they have a "verify license" area. You type in the first and last name of the nurse (in this case, yourself) and see if your name pops up with a license number.
  4. Well Penny.....did they give you a pamphlet when you left from taking the NCLEX? We received one and it said that historically, 86% of first time NCLEX takers who are educated in the US pass the test...on the first try. Let's hope we both did! I have been scouring this website and have not found a single person who did the PVT exactly right and thought they passed, but really failed. I have found MANY who thought they failed (because of not following the directions properly) but actually passed. Let's enjoy the weekend and hope we passed! I am going to buy a pair of scrubs!
  5. It makes me wonder whether they did the trick exactly, step by step, according to the instructions...
  6. Yahoo! You go girl! My hubby took me on a date tonight and I started having chest pains DURING the movie! Argh! I REALLY need to learn some relaxation techniques.
  7. I tested this morning in California. My computer shut off at 75 questions and I got the Pearson Vue pop-up that is supposed to be a great sign after I made sure it said "delivery successful". Like everyone else, I have been scouring the website looking for the one person who PVT didn't work for. Haven't found them yet, and hope I am not the first to prove PVT wrong!!!
  8. Hope it went really well for you!!!
  9. I finished at question 75. I really hope that is a good sign. Tried the Pearson Vue "trick" and it didn't let me re-register for the test. So...hoping that "trick" and stopping at 75 is a good result. So far, I know 8 of us from my class have taken the exam. 6 of us had 75 questions, 1 had 80 questions, and 1 had 110 questions. 2 people know they passed...they took it the earliest and both shut off at 75. I am hoping and praying I passed. I am SO tired of homework and tests and studying!! I want to be FREE!!!! How did everyone else do today? I have a major headache.
  10. scored 63 on qtrainer 6 and 61 on qtrainer 7. they said to get at least 60, so i am going with it!
  11. Thanks, he is already doing a bit better! Hopefully he is better by morning.
  12. We can do it!!! As the Navy Seals and NASA say, "Failure is not an option!" One question at a time ladies and gents, one question at a time. Now I am off to take my 4 year old to the doctor. His fever, after two doses of Tylenol, has gone up from 102 to 103. If it gets higher, they want us to head to the ER immediately. Please pray God will heal him. My hubby and dad can stay with him at our home tomorrow while I test. I just want him healthy and whole SOON.
  13. Yahoo!!!! Congratulations!!!!! I am hoping for the same result tomorrow!!!
  14. Yahoo! Congrats!!!!! I test tomorrow, please pray! 8AM California time!!!
