Its nice to know that its not just me that is driven crazy by the "we're pregnant", "we're trying to get pregnant". there is only one diffinition of pregnant and sorry fella you're not it.

I like to make my dh think he's in on it; that way he bends over backwards to do things for me during preg. "We're pregnant" is staying.

In my case, it really is we're trying to get pregnant. Trust me, it just doesn't happen on its own. DH knows exactly when I ovulate, the length of my luteal phase, and all the other fertility stuff you pick up when TTC x2 years.

I think it makes the pregnancy seem more like something that if effecting both individuals (as it does). I think it's ok. I think it makes the husband feel more a part of the pregnancy.

Believe you me, it wasn't just me that got me this way and he has a hand in everything. He is experiencing the sympathy pregnancy ALL the way,sometimes, he feels it more than I do.

LOL As many of you know I am expecting.. My husband has gained 20 pounds and now shares my Zantac because of heartburn. I catch him up at all hours looking for snacks and he now has started having to potty more often.. Oh yeah and his new complaint..."Gosh my back hurts". I love it!!! So we are definitely in this together...

I always said ' we're pregnant". they are as much his babies as mine, and he was there thru every minute of the hours and hours of labor.
