Published

Hey guys! I haven't seen a thread for this yet so I thought this would be helpful to keep each other updated. Have any of you heard anything about the program yet?

It was very quick, during the second interview, they asked about interests and basically cc’d me to an email with the nursing manager near the end. I had the third interview the following week.

I would suggest be flexible, ask questions and make sure your internet works for Webex!

Oh yay! I basically had the same thing happen... but was then told I was put on a waitlist. Is this similar to your experience?

Yes! They put you on an offer waitlist till the spaces open up (because of the current freeze). Every unit if different and their space for new grads vary esp now.

I havent taken my boards yet but I was told to connect back as soon as I pass. Hopefully the freeze will end by then too!

Specializes in Nursing.

I received my ATT and will take my NCLEX next week. I also have a phone interview the following week. Do they put you on a waitlist for specific departments that you’re interested in or for any department that needs positions filled?

Has anyone had a unit interview yet? Any examples of the interview questions you were asked?

Did you get a unit interview? I am curious too what it is like.

Because it is the nurse manager that interviews you, it is entirely dependent on the specific unit and their own personal style. I would recommend looking up common interview questions for some ideas! Also have a good answer prepared for why you are specifically interested in that unit. Best of luck!

The nursing manager interview for me was very easy compared to everything else. The nurse manager only asked me like two simple questions but was more interested in sharing her expectations and the type of unit it is
